I was born in 1945 in
Nakhchivan,Azerbaijan, where I spent the first 6 months of my life.
Educated as a musician (major-violin) and music teacher. Took to chess
composition in 1971, at first as a solver. First composition was
published in 1973. So far 900 compositions have been published, of
which 150 are awarded. I have an entry in a FIDE Album.
Ran chess
composition columns in several periodicals in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Took gold, silver and bronze medals in several
Azerbaijan Individual Chess Composing Championships. Received
the title of an Azerbaijan Master in Chess Composition in 1992.
Took bronze in Twomovers section in the 1st World's Individual
Championship for Miniatures (1991).
I moved
to the USA in 1997, settled in Lincoln, Nebraska, and became a citizen
in 2002. My interests in chess composition are #2, #3, helpmate and
rarely other genres. Married with two children, a son and daughter.
Also has a grandson and granddaughter. |
