I was born on December the 6th, 1947 in
Skopje. I finished my study of economic science at the University “St.
Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. I am married to Vera and have a son, a
daughter and grandson-Aleksandro.
I began with problem activities in 1970 as a solver in
the Belgrade chess review MAT, and at the beginning of 1971 was
published my first two mover in the Macedonian chess magazine “Makedonski
šah”. The editor was Ljubomir Anastasov, the well-known Macedonian
composer. My favourite genres in chess composition are #2 and
helpmates. During 35 years I have published 261 problems, of which 140
are awarded; 12 entries in FIDE Album – or 10.5 FIDE Album points. I am a
judge of FIDE helpmates (1991) and Yugoslav master for chess
composition (1989). I have participated in the most important chess
problem events in former Yugoslavia, in Macedonia and at several
meetings of world problemists (Malinska, Bled, Igman, Tel-Aviv,
Halkidiki).
I have collaborated on problem magazines
Novi Temi, Falanga, Orbit
and The Macedonian Problemist for years; organized most of
“Meeting of Solidarity” tournaments and have been organizer and judge
of the Championships of Macedonia for chess problem solving. I
participated in the composing matches Yugoslavia versus The
Netherlands and Sweden and Macedonia v. Croatia, the USA and Serbia as
well as the triple match with Russia and the Ukraine, and v.Israel. My
best success is 2nd Place as an individual in the 7th World
Team Championship of Composing. I have written many articles and I am
co-author of The Modern Helpmate In Two (1989). |
